I have been active in St. Louis real estate since 2008, beginning with a private real estate developer, then became a licensed agent in 2012. I am a member of St. Louis Realtors – Commercial Division, the MO Association of Realtors (MAR), and the National Association of Realtor (NAR). My primary area of concentration is commercial and investment property in the St. Louis metropolitan area (St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, and Jefferson County), but I work across the entire state of Missouri. I also represent residential transactions regularly.

She is founder of SMD Consulting Services, providing consulting, administrative and staffing support to business owners and political campaigns, having worked with over 100 businesses and staffed campaigns for STL City council races to US Congressional races.
She is the founder and Exec. Dir. of Sisters Helping Each Other Reach A Higher Height (S.H.E.R.A.H.), a non-profit org. that creates safe spaces for women and girls of color. S.H.E.R.A.H. offers sister circles, retreats, conferences, a girls' empowerment program, L.O.V.E. Project, that focuses on teaching young black girls the keys to self-love,
sisterhood, and entrepreneurship, and a residential program for women healing from the traumas of sexual and domestic violence.
She has over 15 years non-profit experience working for St. Louis Area Foodbank, Provident Counseling, Almost Home, Magdalene St. Louis, Center for Women in Transition, and others. She has worked as a grant writer and
development director. Shante has also freelanced for publications such as The St. Louis American Newspaper, Flipside Newszine, Yandy Smith's Everything Girls Love website, and"Who's Who in Black St. Louis" and Who's Who Diversity in Color".
Shante served as the Production Assistant for "The Wake Up Call" with Lizz Brown, a successful political morning show hosted by the late Lizz Brown.
